Job summary

Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm with offices nationwide, is seeking a Tax Associate to join the tax team. You will apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance engagements to help clients maximize opportunities.

This full-time role offers growth, training, and exposure to senior leadership, with a flexible, remote/ hybrid work environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of public accounting experience; entry level considered.
• Exposure in the preparation of tax returns is ideal.
• Degree in Accounting or related field is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional writing skills.
• Strong accounting, analytical, technical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel on a very limited basis.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance client engagements.
• Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040).
• Participate in the tax planning and consultation process for clients.
• Participate in professional development activities, including training sessions and networking events, and work closely with Senior Leadership.

Position Responsibilities:

• Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance client engagements
• Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040)
