Tax Analyst
This position is hybrid in Richmond, VA, in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.
As a Finance team member, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial strength and flexibility that enables us to be there when our policyholders need us - now and in the future. The tax department of Genworth is looking for a State Tax Analyst to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest degree of accuracy, timeliness, and accountability while preparing premium tax estimates and returns, property tax filings and payments, municipal tax returns and payments and state income tax and franchise tax returns and payments. You will be preparing accounting entries as necessary for all state tax processes. You will support our insurance businesses and assist with the preparation and review of the federal, state, and investments compliance for those legal entities. You will also assist with tax accounting for quarterly and annual reporting requirements. You will work with a cross-functional team of tax professionals, as well as business partners, to ensure the highest level of quality in our tax compliance and reporting processes. Compensation Range: $68,900-$90,000
