Team Overview

Apogem Capital seeks a Tax Analyst for their Tax Team, focusing on tax planning and FATCA compliance for Private Equity and Private Credit Funds. The role involves supporting FATCA processes and handling US Federal, State, and Foreign tax matters. The team collaborates with Accounting, Legal, Investment teams, and external advisors.

What You'll Do

1. Assist in reviewing deliverables prepared by outside tax and FATCA preparers, including workpapers.
2. Verify correctness and completeness of FATCA/CRS documents.
3. Compile tax data and collaborate to ensure timely, accurate filings, responding to questions as needed.
4. Analyze legal entity structures and financial statements for tax adjustments.
5. Assist with investor requests.

What You'll Bring

1. At least 2 years of tax and/or FATCA experience from a Big 4 CPA firm or relevant industry.
2. Familiarity with tax and FATCA issues in asset management.
3. Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
4. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport internally and externally.
5. Proficient in Excel.
6. CPA preferred but not required.
7. Big 4 experience is a plus.

Pay Transparency

Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Base salary depends on experience, skills, and location. Incentive programs may also be available.
