Job summary

Accordance, a secure AI platform for accounting and finance professionals, seeks an AI Engineer in San Francisco to build and ship AI solutions. You will collaborate with Finance & Accounting Research and Product teams to create optimized systems delivering client value.

We welcome candidates with AI/ML background and enthusiasm for agentic professional services. The role is based in San Francisco, CA with an in-person work model and relocation assistance for new employees.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AI/ML experience post-BS/MS.
• 5-9 years experience at a large tax or accounting firm or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate with both clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to define positive outcomes with underspecified success criteria.
• Willingness to do hands-on work in the trenches, including grading and document processing.

Responsibilities

• Product Iteration: Build AI-native workflows end-to-end.
• Stability: Understand customer needs and improve systems over time.
• Large Scale Data Processing: Work with large, unstructured data sources.
• Prototyping: Identify new AI opportunities based on client needs.
• Evaluation: Design analytics-driven evaluation systems for growth.
