Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to help clients navigate complex tax and business scenarios.

You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings opportunities, and build lasting relationships at a local Block Advisors office. In this in-person role, you’ll interview clients, provide personalized recommendations, offer IRS support, and collaborate with your team to deliver friendly, client-focused service while advancing your tax expertise through our training and

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience with complex individual and business returns, tax planning, audit support, and tax notices
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet continuing education requirements and IRS/state prerequisites
• High school diploma or GED
