Accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
Experience with journal entries and reconciliations.
Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized.
Independent, self-motivated and deadline-driven.
Experience in tax, accounting or professional services preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize tax documents and maintain client files for approximately 50-75 clients.
Enter bank, brokerage, and other financial information.
Reconcile accounts and review financial statements.
Prepare and post journal entries and accounting adjustments.
Review financial records for LLCs, Corporations, S-Corporations, FLPs, Trusts, and Individual Tax Returns.
Work with attorneys to gather and organize information for tax preparation.
Identify missing information or discrepancies and follow up as needed.
Manage multiple client files while meeting strict tax deadlines.
Organize client bank statements, brokerage accounts, and supporting documentation.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information.
