Prysmian Group in Taunton, MA is seeking a motivated HSE Intern to support workplace safety and environmental programs. You will assist inspections, hazard assessments, and the tracking of safety metrics in a manufacturing setting.

This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship from HSE professionals, and exposure to OSHA and environmental compliance, with potential for full-time opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Sophomore level or higher to be considered
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsabilités

• Assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Support the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
• Participate in safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees.
• Help track and analyze safety performance metrics (incidents, near misses, audits).
• Assist in investigating accidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health and safety regulations.
• Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, energy efficiency, and sustainability programs.
• Maintain and update safety records, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
