Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Safety Intern to support the HSE team in a manufacturing setting. The role reports to the onsite HSE Manager and offers engagement on projects that build foundational expertise in occupational safety and health.

The intern will interact with production staff, supervisors, and maintenance teams, developing safety reports, training materials, and basic corrective actions while gaining hands-on experience in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in safety, health, or related field (OHSA/EHS/Environmental Science/Industrial Hygiene/Engineering).
• Strong reading, interpretation of safety procedures, and ability to communicate technical information.

Responsibilities

• Report to onsite HSE Manager daily and assist on safety projects.
• Interact with production employees, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to support safety initiatives.
• Develop practical corrective actions based on hazard observations and inspections.
