Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Intern to gain hands-on experience in workplace safety, compliance, and environmental initiatives within a manufacturing setting. You will collaborate with production teams and mentors to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

This internship offers practical exposure to risk assessment, OSHA/EPA regulations, and documentation practices, with potential for full-time opportunities based on performance and business

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Sophomore level or higher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in workplace safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Support development and implementation of HSE policies.
• Participate in safety training and awareness programs.
• Track and analyze safety performance metrics (incidents, near misses, audits).
• Help investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
• Support environmental initiatives such as waste management and energy efficiency.
• Maintain safety records and permits.
