Job summary

Pasolivo is seeking a friendly Tasting Room Host/Support to warmly welcome guests and manage reservations and walk-ins. You will assist servers with side work, maintain an organized tasting room, and answer guest questions about Pasolivo products and pricing.

Position is part-time with weekend shifts, typically 1–2 shifts weekly. Pay is $18.00 per hour, with an employee discount as a perk. Training and teamwork are emphasized to deliver exceptional guests experiences.

Tasting Room Host/Support

We are looking for a smart, energetic, and capable candidate to join our team in the role of Tasting Room Host/Support. This position will be responsible for providing a warm and friendly welcome to guests as they arrive and will assist in delivering an exceptional customer experience to everyone who visits Pasolivo. The successful candidate must be able to think ahead. They will need to keep track of available tables and upcoming reservations while also managing walk-in traffic/wait list, and communicating with servers as new parties arrive. Outstanding communication skills are a must.

This role will also provide support for our servers by assisting with side work like preparing tasting plates and bread, bussing tables, restocking the sales floor, washing dishes, etc. to keep the tasting room operational.

Reports to: Tasting Room Lead, Tasting Room Manager

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival, and answer phone calls during service hours. You’re the first point of contact!
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude while at work.
• Manage traffic to the Tasting Room. This includes pre-booked reservations, walk-in traffic and a wait list if necessary. Host is responsible for seating arrangements and assigning servers to groups following a rotation (using Table Agent reservation/table management system).
• Must be willing to learn about Pasolivo (company/products/pricing/club structure/property/story/etc) and be able to answer guest questions knowledgeably and confidently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Tasting Room floor, back rooms, outdoor patios and parking lot.
• Assist with side work including bussing tables, running tasting samples, picking up trash, washing dishes, restocking the sales floor, checking guests out when needed, filling sample bottles, making preset sample plates, and other side work as assigned.
