The role requires working closing shifts (7:30pm) and weekends, delivering warm, knowledgeable guest service; crafting beverages and light foods; and upholding safety and service standards. You will act as a brand ambassador, keeping spaces inviting, and helping guests feel welcomed and inspired.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, café, retail, food service, or hospitality roles.
• Strong communication skills and an authentic desire to engage with guests.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain product and recipe knowledge.
• Valid Food Handler’s and OLCC certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted and remain on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and a customer-first attitude.
• Engage guests in product recommendations, tea education, and menu guidance.
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and food items according to Smith Teamaker specifications.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with health, sanitation, and safety protocols.
