Job summary

Amyx, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead large, complex task orders and support the Program Manager in coordinating with the Government KO, COR, and customer agency representatives.

You will oversee the task order's overall management and ensure timely implementation of technical solutions and schedules under the Program Manager’s guidance. Key requirements include PMP or equivalent, 5+ years of project management and leadership experience in IT/consulting, and a BS/BA or four related

Job description

Serves as the project manager for large, complex task orders and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Contracting Officer Representative (COR), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Develop Project Management Plan to accomplish contract requirements.

• Manage and deliver monthly deliverables including 8570/8140 report and monthly progress report.
• Participate and document required weekly and monthly PMO meetings.
• Provide personnel oversight for PMO support team.
• Must have the ability to communicate accurate information.

Qualifications Required

• Must have Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other equivalent nationally recognized certification.)
• Five (5) years project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
• Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
• BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
• Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3). Desired: Experience supporting DLA.
• Supporting standardized programmatic tasks.
• Working in a fast paced environment.
