Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Task Order Lead to oversee a mission-critical logistics program in northern Virginia. You will coordinate across training, logistics, facilities, and sustainment workstreams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, tracking progress, and supporting surge staffing while collaborating with the PMO, subcontractors, and oversight elements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PM, Business, Logistics, or related field with 1 year experience, or 10 years government task order experience.
• 2–3 years of leadership or operational management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of project/task order management principles.
• Experience in operational risk management and corrective action planning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for internal coordination and customer communication.
• Familiarity with IMS principles and performance tracking tools.
• Proficient in oral, written, and virtual communications.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team under deadlines.
• US Citizenship and active TS/SCI with polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational meetings and maintain real-time situational awareness.
• Coordinate task order updates, data collection, risk reporting, and briefings.
• Monitor performance against schedules, burn rates, and staffing plans.
• Support surge staffing, resource allocation, and event readiness validations.
• Back up Deputy Program Manager for customer interactions and escalations.
• Ensure effective communication across subcontractor partners.
• Assist with program reports, logistics tracking, and facility readiness.
• Other duties as assigned.
