Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Task Force Chef to lead culinary operations across properties, overseeing the implementation of company tools and standard procedures, and guiding transitions during peak periods. This role involves close collaboration with hotel leadership on menu development and staff training.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in culinary management, strong leadership, and prior fine dining experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive and stable experience in culinary management and kitchen operations.
• Prior fine dining experience required.
• Ability to build working relationships with hotel staff and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ tools, systems and standard procedures across properties.
• Manage assignments during transitions or peak periods.
• Assist in cooking, development of new menu items with Executive Chef, and training of culinary staff.
• Represent corporate office and ensure cost, cleanliness and teamwork objectives are met.
