Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Task Area Program Manager to lead enterprise IT programs and deliver engineering services across the Department’s needs. You will oversee a broad range of initiatives, from endpoint management to secure communications, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with project teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years managing IT projects (3+ in a federal environment), and an Active Secret clearance with potential Top Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of IT project or program management experience, including at least 3 years in a federal environment.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience supervising technical teams and managing budgets.
• Active Secret security clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret if required.
• Experience with enterprise endpoint protection tools and provisioning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of Customer Support and Engineering Services to meet Department needs.
• Lead and manage a specific task area (e.g., Endpoint Management, IT Operations, Engineering Services).
• Ensure delivery of requirements and supervise project managers and technical staff.
• Design and maintain enterprise endpoint protection, provisioning, patch management, and secure communications systems.
• Develop and maintain VDI environments for secure, scalable workspaces.
