Job summary

General Dynamics - IT seeks a Senior Program Manager to oversee a large, complex modernization program across multiple sites. You will control cost, schedule, and technical compliance while coordinating with Government leadership and contractor teams.

The role requires PMI PMP and/or PgMP certifications, ITIL and IAT II credentials, and DoD security clearance. Expect hybrid work in the Washington, DC area and significant travel to CONUS sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in IT project management (last 10 years).
• Minimum two years as PM of a major enterprise infrastructure upgrade for a DoW customer.
• Minimum two years managing a program with multiple inter-related IT projects via IMS-based WBS.
• Recent experience with wireless and private mobile network infra projects including 5G.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Travel 25%+ CONUS; hybrid/remote work in DC area.

Responsibilities

• Own overall performance of a large, complex modernization program across multiple sites.
• Oversee cost, schedule, technical compliance, and contract/task-order requirements.
• Provide leadership, stakeholder engagement, and proactive reporting to Government leadership.
• Manage resources, dependencies, and IMS-based scheduling for multiple concurrent projects.
• Identify and communicate programmatic or resource risks early; ensure quality and profitability.
