General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Information Technology Manager (Network Operations and Cybersecurity) to lead a diverse team supporting Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network activities on-site in Virginia Beach, VA. The role emphasizes operational management of IT services, KPI adherence, and technical leadership in AD, Exchange, SharePoint, and imaging.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of DoD IT experience and 5+ years in management, with a TS clearance and CAC

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• 7+ years IT experience in DoD projects.
• 5+ years managerial experience in DoD efforts.
• Experience overseeing devices, drivers, patches, and client application management.
• Experience managing enterprise network for optimal performance.
• Ability to obtain CAC access and access to military installations.
• Bachelors degree in IT or related field.
• Location: Virginia Beach, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and administrators, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery and operation of customer-facing enterprise IT services.
• Ensure service levels meet KPIs and address deviations.
• Provide technical leadership in design, implementation, and maintenance of IT services (VDI, imaging, patching, SharePoint, AD, Exchange).
• Stay current with industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
• Develop strategies to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align digital services with objectives.
• Evaluate configurations to enhance performance.
• Manage Change Management, maintenance windows, and deconflicting activities.
• Maintain audit information and logs; use procedures to operate infrastructure.
