Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Compliance Intern in Houston, TX for a semester-long engagement. This part-time role (20 hours/week, 13 weeks) runs Aug 31–Nov 27, 2026, offering hands-on experience in trade compliance and tariff classification.

The intern will review HTS codes, apply tariff rates, and use SAP to extract data for the tariff database. You will draft an SOP for maintenance and present findings to SCPM/SCM leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data analysis or procurement/data management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and update HTS code assignments for NA accounts using the USITC HTS database.
• Research and apply current tariff rates (MFN, Section 301, Section 232, USMCA).
• Use SAP to extract active part number and account data for tariff updates.
• Conduct a gap analysis to identify missing or incorrect HTS entries and tariff records.
• Develop a tariff exposure summary report organized by account and commodity category.
• Draft a Standard Operating Procedure for ongoing tariff database maintenance.
• Integrate updated tariff data with FII's compliance system.
• Present findings and recommendations to SCPM and SCM leadership.
