Job summary

Alpha seeks a Literacy Specialist to guide K‑3 students through app‑based core learning and targeted literacy interventions on a daily basis. You will identify and close decoding gaps for small groups, delivering precise 15‑minute lessons tailored to each learner’s needs.

This full‑time, on‑site role requires coaching, daily campus routines, and ongoing progress reporting to families. National campus expansion supports your growth within Alpha’s model.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years directly with children ages 4-9 in teaching or coaching settings.
• Two years of reading instruction experience in K-3 within the last five years.
• Completed structured‑literacy training or master’s in reading or literacy.

Responsibilities

• Guide two to four students in brief structured literacy sessions.
• Deliver targeted 15‑minute lessons for identified gaps.
• Lead app‑based core learning and campus routines from launch to close.
• Motivate students to reach weekly app goals using rewards and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing with individualized plans.
