Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC in Saddle Brook, NJ, seeks a Taping Machine Operator for night shift to set up, thread, and run wire through our tape process. You will load tapes, monitor ovens and spark testers, and ensure quality throughout production.

1–2 years of manufacturing experience and a HS diploma or GED are required. Must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check; on-site work with full-time hours and company benefits. Training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work 3rd shift (11:30 PM–8:00 AM) and travel to the facility

Responsibilities

• Set up reels of wire into payoff stands and feed onto takeup reel
• Lace wire through machine-oven-capstan spark tester and onto takeup reel
• Load tapes onto taping heads and drain wire per job specification
• Set oven controllers to required temperatures and start machine
• Maintain quality standards and operate at specification speeds, perform basic repairs as needed

Sets spark tester at specification voltage.
