Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC in Saddle Brook, NJ, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Taping Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up reels, thread wire, load tapes, and monitor ovens and testers to meet specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to pass post-offer physical/drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up reels of wire into payoff stands and load into takeup.
• Thread wire through machine, oven, capstan tester and onto takeup reel.
• Load tapes onto taping heads and monitor oven temperatures per spec.
• Set oven controllers to required temperatures and ensure tape lay meets specs.
• Start machine, verify tape lay and spark tester voltage, run to required footage.
• Maintain quality standards and operate machines at specified speeds.
• Perform repairs to faults or damaged material per specifications.
