Zoom Tan is seeking a Salon Sales Manager in Estero, FL to lead a retail tanning salon, drive sales, and coach a team for exceptional customer experiences. The role emphasizes recruiting staff, scheduling, inventory control, and upselling products, with commission and a strong service focus.

The position offers a full-time, on-site role with employee discounts, benefits, and a 18.50 USD hourly base plus uncapped commission. Ideal candidates bring leadership and a proven retail sales background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated to succeed in fast paced retail environment.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire motivated and enthusiastic employees.
• Train and develop a successful sales team
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees
• Manage all aspects of daily store operations (Cleanliness, Inventory)
• Prepare staffing schedules to meet the needs of the salon
• Successfully maintain inventory of product
• Other tasks and duties as assigned by the District Manager
• Greeting clients and providing them with a warm and welcoming experience.
• Assessing clients' skin types determines the appropriate tanning equipment and lotion for their needs; explain tanning process, safety guidelines
• Maintaining a clean and organized tanning area, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that lotions and other supplies are well stocked
• Upselling tanning lotions and other products to clients, providing recommendations
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets, while maintaining professionalism and customer service
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients
• Maintaining accurate records of client information, including tanning history and preferences
• Opening and closing the tanning salon on time.
