Job summary

Kirby-Corporation seeks a Logistics Scheduler to oversee the scheduling of field personnel and manage training and safety programs for shore tankering operations. You will coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to meet customer needs, ensure compliance, and drive efficient manpower deployment.

The role requires DL endorsement where possible, strong organizational and communication skills, and hands-on experience with tank barge operations and safety procedures.

• DL endorsement preferred.
• Organized, detail-oriented and accurate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling of manpower for internal and external customers.
• Manage safety and training requirements to ensure compliance with company and federal requirements.
• Coordinate annual site-specific and CBT/AWO training; complete annual performance evaluations for tank barge PIC.
• Work with other Kirby departments to meet customer and company requirements.
• Manage vendor tank barge PIC and monitor performance for adherence to policies.
