ConocoPhillips seeks a Utility Person for Polar Tankers to assist in Deck, Engine and Galley roles. You will support ship operations, maintenance, cargo handling, and safety drills while working 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed.

This safety-sensitive position requires US work authorization, TWIC, MMC, and relevant endorsements. Relocation is not offered, and tours last 65–85 days with substantial paid leave.

Qualifikationen

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
• TWIC and MMC credentials required; Endorsements for Able Seafarer-Engine and Engine/Deck watch are preferred.
• Willing to travel and be away from home for extended tours (65-85 days) with paid leave.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and follow safety protocols.

Aufgaben

• Cleans decks and ladder ways.
• Replenishes materials and rag bins, empties trash, organizes tools and stores, paints, and assists with maintenance.
• Familiar with engine room spaces to avoid hazards and take timely action.
• Learns the plant and machinery operation.
• Participates in maintenance and upkeep.
• Performs sanitation duties in the house, passage spaces, common areas, and heads.
• Assists with mooring lines when docking and undocking, and with securing the deck for sea.
• Assists with cargo operations.
• Duties of lookout when arriving or departing a port.
