Job summary

CTR in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a tanker trailer mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain trailers, focusing on brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems while adhering to DOT standards. The role requires at least 1 year as a mechanic and a high school diploma or equivalent, with OSHA safety compliance and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on tanker trailers.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspections.
• Repair or replace components of the trailer’s systems.
• Ensure that trailers meet DOT standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Communicate with customers or managers regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as necessary.
• Some experience with tanker trailers and a diesel background is a plus.
