Chemtrade in Toledo is seeking a Tanker Driver with a CDL A and hazmat endorsement. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading chemical products, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and performing routine vehicle inspections.

Ideal candidates have tanker experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work with the dispatch team. The position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of recent tractor/tanker experience.
• Minimum one year of recent tanker experience.
• Must have a valid CDL Class A with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• A clean driving record for the past three years.
• Be physically qualified to drive and provide a medical card.
• Provide proof of experience or training to operate Chemtrade equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck.
• Transport and unload chemicals into customers' tanks safely with required paperwork.
• Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections.
• Comply with all laws, rules and regulations.
• Become familiar with plant operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position: Tanker Driver, CDL A HAZMAT

Primary Location: 1660 Campbell Street, Toledo, OH 43607

Schedule: Full-Time Hourly

Reports To: Regional Driver Manager

Compensation: $30.42 USD + bonus + benefits.

In This Role, You Will

• Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck


• Transport and unload chemicals into customers' tanks safely and with the required paperwork


• Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading

• Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations


• Become familiar with plant operating procedures


• Other duties as assigned

A Successful Candidate Has

• Minimum two (2) years of recent tractor/tanker experience


• Minimum one (1) year of recent tanker experience


• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements


• A clean driving record for the past three (3) years


• Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide a valid medical card


• Be able to provide proof of experience or training to operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade safely

Physical Occupational Requirements

• Employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs/ladders (including vertical)
