Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT inspection certified trailer mechanic for our Portland, OR facility. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on tank trailers, with emphasis on tank service, suspension installation, and compliance with DOT HM183/hazmat standards.

Experience with air brake systems and TIG welding (aluminum/steel) is required, along with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment and maintain

Qualifications

• Must be DOT inspection certified mechanics with tank trailer repair experience.
• Skill in diagnosing failures and repairing mechanical, electrical or other systems on a tank trailer.
• Experience with tank service and repair, suspension installation and repair.
• Proficient with air brake systems and repairs.
• TIG aluminum and steel welding experience.
• Ability to inspect tanks/trailers to ensure compliance with DOT HM183/hazmat standards.
