Job summary
Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT inspection-certified Trailer Mechanic with specialized tank trailer repair experience in Bloomington, CA. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet of tank trailers in strict DOT/HM183 compliance.

Qualifications
- DOT Inspection Certification required (FMCSA Registered Cargo Tank Inspector).
- 2+ years of dedicated tank trailer repair and testing experience preferred (3–5 years ideal).
- Knowledge of HM183 cargo tank testing requirements (V, I, L, P, T, K).
- Experience troubleshooting heavy-duty air brake systems, suspensions, and piping.
- Ability to read manuals/blueprints and follow federal standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspections of DOT & HM183 compliant tanks (MC 306/406, 307/407; MC 331/338).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, structural, and piping systems.
- Service and repair brakes, suspensions, and air brake systems.
- Maintain detailed inspection logs per regulations.
- Adhere to OSHA and safety procedures; operate in a clean shop.
- Welding experience (plus) for ASME R Stamp capabilities.
