Qualifications

• DOT inspection certification required.
• 2+ years tank trailer repair and testing experience.
• Familiar with DOT HM183 cargo tank testing.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain tank trailers per DOT/HM183 rules.
• Perform inspections on MC 306/406, MC 307/407, MC 331, MC 338.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, piping, and related systems.
• Maintain detailed inspection logs and ensure safety compliance.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures in a busy shop.
• Welding: TIG welding experience is a plus to align with ASME R Stamp.
