Job summary

Heniff Transportation is seeking a Tank Wash Technician to perform cleaning of tanker trailers, on-site remediation, de-contamination, and handling of hazardous materials. The role requires adherence to safety policies, equipment operation, and strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities include operating pumps and heavy equipment, maintaining PPE usage, and supporting field sampling and meters calibration under supervision. Prior experience in related industrial cleaning is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; six+ months related experience.
• Solid communication and attention to detail; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow health, safety and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Operate light and heavy equipment (pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats, forklift).
• Handle hand tools and pressure washers and ensure proper equipment use; report issues.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
• Assist in field sampling activities and meter calibration; perform other duties as assigned.
• Report to Tank Wash Manager and maintain quality standards.
