Job summary

Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC is seeking a Tank Wash Technician in Wilmington, NC. The role involves cleaning hazardous, non-hazardous and food-grade tanker trailers, on-site remediation, de-contamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Shift is 1st shift with duties including operating pumps, pressure washers, and performing field sampling as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months in the industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Six or more months industry-related experience.

Responsibilities

• The Tank Wash Technician ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Operate light and heavy equipment including pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats, forklift, etc.
• Tank Wash Technician handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools including pressure washers.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and notify supervisor of any mechanical failure.
• Wear and properly use PPE when required.
• Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Reports to the Tank Wash Manager.
