Job summary

Heniff Family of Companies is seeking a Tank Wash Technician to clean hazardous, non-hazardous and food-grade tanker trailers, perform on-site remediation, de-contamination and handling of hazardous materials. The role requires strict health and safety practices and the ability to work with various equipment on-site.

You will operate pumps, compressors, boilers, forklifts, and use pressure washers, hand tools, and PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Six+ months of industry-related experience.
• Experience with confined space entry (CSE) training preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Operate light and heavy equipment including pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats, forklift, etc.
• Handle pressure washers and various hand tools and powered equipment.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and report any mechanical failure to supervisor.
• Adhere to health & safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
• Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Tank Wash Manager.
