Job summary

The Tank Wash Technician at Heniff Transportation Systems cleans and decontaminates tanker trailers, performs on-site remediation, and handles hazardous materials with a strong emphasis on health and safety. You will operate pumps, boilers, forklifts, and pressure washers while following regulations and using PPE.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least six months in the industry, plus strong communication, attention to detail, and a customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• Solid communication skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work with little supervision.
• Proven focus on continuous improvement in the workplace.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and acting safely.
• Operate light and heavy equipment (pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats, forklift, etc.).
• Handle hand tools and powered tools, including pressure washers.
• Notify supervisor of mechanical failures or problems with equipment.
• Adhere to Health & Safety compliance and regulations.
• Wear and use PPE as required.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Report to the Tank Wash Manager.
