Job summary

Savannah Tank and Equipment Corporation in Garden City, Idaho, is seeking an experienced Supervisor – Tank Testing & Finishing to lead the tank and pressure vessel testing, cleaning, and finishing team. The role reports to the Operations Manager and emphasizes safety, quality, and timely production.

You will supervise testing activities, ensure adherence to blueprints and BOMs, coordinate with QC for inspections, and drive process improvements while maintaining a clean work area and accurate

Qualifications

• Experience in tank/vessel testing, cleaning and finishing.
• Familiar with equipment, chemicals, and passivation of stainless steel.
• Ability to lead team members while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; reports to Operations Manager.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workload and lead team in tank/pressure vessel testing, cleaning, and finishing.
• Report to the Operations Manager to meet production schedules.
• Work with QC Manager to prepare tanks for pressure testing and final inspection.
• Follow blueprints and Bills of Materials to ensure tanks meet specs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Oversee outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Research, develop, and implement process improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency.
