OEG is seeking a Tank Technician to join the Cargo Logistics Division in Port Fourchon, LA. You will maintain and inspect a large-format tank rental fleet on-site, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliability for offshore energy operations.

You will perform detailed inspections, manage spare parts on the service truck, and respond to customer inquiries while documenting issues for continuous improvement. Occasional travel and on-call support are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on oil and gas installation or repair experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving initiative.
• Good understanding of large-format tank products and related manuals.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and inspect the on-site tank rental fleet for safety and compliance.
• Perform detailed inspections to ensure operational readiness.
• Keep service truck parts stock adequate to support repairs.
• Maintain and renew vehicle inspection tags and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to customer inquiries and document complaints accurately.
• Work on a regular schedule and be on-call for rental equipment support.
• Submit field reports to management promptly.
• Travel as required to conduct company business.
• Adhere to all OEG policies and assist in process improvements.
