OEG Energy Group in Port Fourchon, Louisiana, is seeking a Tank Technician to inspect and maintain our large-format tank fleet on-site. You will perform regular inspections, manage parts on the service truck, assist customers, and ensure compliance with safety and QA policies.

Travel as required and on-call support may be needed. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in oil/gas tank service, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with drawings and MS Office.

Formación

• Three to five years of hands-on experience as a tank technician in oil and gas or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and initiative to identify and resolve issues.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge of large-format tank products.
• Able to read and interpret technical product drawings and service manuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiar with the company server.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the large-format tank rental fleet through regular on-site inspections to verify equipment condition and certifications.
• Perform detailed inspections on large-format tanks to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of parts on the service truck to support timely repairs.
• Provide customer support by responding to enquiries, following up, and documenting complaints.
• Maintain company vehicles by renewing inspection tags and licenses and performing preventive maintenance.
• Carry out work on a regular schedule and be available on-call for rental equipment needs.
• Complete work promptly, prioritising tasks to meet demands and schedules.
• Submit field reports to management in a timely manner.
• Assist in special projects as directed by supervision.
• Work in a safe, clean, and organized manner and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Understand and implement OEG Offshore policies and operating procedures.
