Steel Systems Installation, Inc. is looking for an experienced welder/fabricator to support our shop operations in Alaska. The role involves welding, cutting, and assembling steel components, and performing tank manufacturing tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include operating basic fabrication equipment, painting, maintaining records, and adhering to safety policies. Forklift operation may be required when a material handler is unavailable.

• Experience in steel fabrication and welding.
• Ability to operate basic fabrication equipment and tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with safety rules.

• Cutting and detailing steel for fabrication.
• Welding and fabricating per company policies and standards.
• Performing all aspects of tank manufacturing.
• Preparing and painting of materials.
• Completing paperwork including timecards and inventory lists.
• Maintaining a clean and organized working area.
• Operating a forklift when material handler is not available.
