Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, provides railcar repair across North America. The Railcar Repair Technician leads repair and maintenance with safety as a priority, performing inspections, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with AAR rules.

Starting pay rate is $24.92/hr with M-Th 7:00 am–5:00 pm, overtime available, and up to 30% travel; strong teamwork and customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems.
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance on tank cars and railcars.
• Perform inspections to ensure compliance with AAR rules.
• Handle invoicing, work orders, and maintain certifications.
• Provide customer support and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work as part of a team and follow safety procedures.
