Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring a Railcar Repair Technician. You will repair and maintain tank cars, inspect for compliance, and ensure safety while serving diverse customers across North America.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in varied weather conditions. The job emphasizes using current repair procedures, maintaining certifications, and accurate invoicing and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude, ability to problem-solve and to make decisions.
• Ability to use hand tools (such as pipe wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, ratchets, and other equipment).
• Must handle and successfully complete basic railcar repairs and inspections.
• Demonstrates strong customer relations and teamwork.
• Must work safely and follow proper procedures.
• Must work in all types of weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintenance on tank cars following current procedures.
• Perform railcar inspections to ensure compliance and execute repairs as needed.
• Provide customer support to meet expectations and job satisfaction.
• Handle invoicing, inspection data, and work orders accurately.
• Maintain all required certifications and knowledge of AAR rules.
