Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring a Railcar Repair Technician responsible for repairs and maintenance on tank cars. You will lead teams, follow current repair procedures, and ensure safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand tools, and the capacity to work in all weather with up to 50% travel. Starting pay is $24.18 per hour, with comprehensive benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to use hand tools such as pipe wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, ratchets.
• Able to perform basic railcar repairs and inspections.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• The Railcar Repair Technician conducts all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars.
• Lead and demonstrate safety-conscious leadership while following current repair procedures.
• Conduct railcar inspections to ensure compliance and perform necessary repairs.
• Provide customer support to meet expectations and ensure satisfaction of work.
• Complete invoicing, inspection, and work order information; maintain certifications.
