Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) specializes in complex, fast-paced tank repair nationwide. Our experienced engineers are proficient in API 650, API 653, AWWA D100, AWWA D103, API 12D, and other standards.

We build and repair welded above-ground storage tanks (ASTs), bolted tanks, and related systems, including tank system inspection, installation, and repair of components like aluminum geodesic dome covers, IFRs, liquid level gauges, fire protection systems, silo supports, and insulation systems.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform arc and torch cutting, gouging.
• Operate generators, compressors, grinders, and other tools.
• Weld using various techniques including SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc welding.
• Use lifting and rigging equipment like come-alongs, jacks, hoists, and winches.
• Utilize specialized tank equipment and perform non-destructive testing.
• Ensure safety with proper gear and operate large lifting machinery.
• Read and interpret detailed drawings.
• Plan and execute tank fitting, welding, and repair processes.
• Complete safety analyses and training.
• Collaborate professionally with team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving and system improvement abilities.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Willing to undergo background checks and drug testing.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to check driving records.
• Welding skills are a plus.
