TANF Youth Workforce Connector

We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team. As a TANF Youth Workforce Connector, you will be responsible for building relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations to connect participants to available services and to aid individuals who need further assistance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations.
• Disseminate information about our program to community-based organizations.
• Provide individualized assessment of work, family and personal development needs and opportunities.
• Conduct eligibility determination and case management.
• Conduct intake assessments to create Individual Service Strategies (ISS) to guide customers on their path to employment.
• Provide referrals to appropriate programs, community service sites or social service agencies when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree or some college preferred.
• Demonstrated telephone, computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining flexibility to meet contract and operational needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Regional travel is required.
• Able to work fully onsite, fully virtual, or in a hybrid environment.
• Clean driving record, valid Driver’s License, and reliable vehicle required.
