Job summary

Zoom Tan in New York is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, promote brand and services, and help clients achieve their tanning goals.

You will greet clients, assess skin types, explain the tanning process, upsell products, and strive to meet sales targets in a fast-paced, friendly environment. This role requires reliability, 18+ years old, and availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
• Assess clients' skin types to determine tanning equipment and lotion, and explain the process and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized tanning area and ensure equipment is in good working order and supplies are stocked.
• Upsell tanning lotions and related products with personalized recommendations.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while delivering professional customer service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and record tanning history and preferences.
• Open and close the tanning salon on time.
