Job summary

Zoom Tan is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales in a fast-paced tanning salon. You will help clients choose the right equipment and products, explain the process, and ensure a welcoming, safe experience.

The role emphasizes long-term growth within the team, with opportunities for advancement and a focus on building lasting client relationships in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a welcoming experience.
• Assess skin types and recommend tanning equipment and lotions; explain process and safety.
• Maintain a clean, stocked tanning area and ensure equipment works.
• Upsell products and provide recommendations based on client needs.
• Meet/exceed sales targets with professionalism and customer service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Maintain client records including tanning history and preferences.
• Open and close the salon on time.
