DRMP, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Business Unit Leader to drive the strategic, operational, and financial performance of a defined profit center. The role offers significant autonomy with accountability and a path for broader leadership impact within the Trilon family of firms.

The position leads strategy, portfolio management, talent development, and revenue growth within the Transportation department, with a focus on safety, quality, and governance across a portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree (MBA, Engineering, or similar) strongly preferred.
• Professional licensure (P.Eng., PE, CEng, etc.) is an asset depending on service line.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear business unit vision and strategy aligned with company.
• Set market strategy, prioritizing attractive markets, clients, and service offerings to grow the portfolio.
• Drive Business Development with your team to build and strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• Oversee portfolio performance across projects: gross margin, schedule, risk exposure, and client satisfaction.
• Lead monthly project reviews with Operations and Finance to improve quality, client service, and financial performance.
• Maintain governance over budgets, forecasts, and ETCs for accuracy and early issue identification.
