YO AI Labs is seeking Tamil Bilingual Experts to evaluate Tamil audio content for an AI training project. You will assess nativeness, fluency, and overall language quality, and provide feedback in English.

This remote contractor role requires native Tamil proficiency and strong English communication. No prior AI experience is required, but attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines are essential for timely, high-quality evaluations.

Qualifications

• Native Tamil proficiency with strong written and spoken Tamil.
• B2+ proficiency in English for written and verbal communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle linguistic differences.
• Clear written reporting of evaluations in English.
• Ability to follow guidelines and apply evaluation criteria consistently.
• Comfortable working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio clips in Tamil and evaluate the nativeness, fluency, and overall linguistic quality of the speaker or model output.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, accent, rhythm, and linguistic authenticity.
• Identify unnatural phrasing, pronunciation issues, and subtle language differences.
• Document evaluations using clear and concise written feedback in English.
• Provide detailed explanations and justifications for evaluation decisions.
• Follow established guidelines, rubrics, and quality standards consistently.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguous language content.
• Provide linguistic insights to help improve AI models' Tamil-language understanding and generation.
• Complete assigned audio review tasks accurately and within project deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
