Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking Tamil bilingual experts to contribute to a language and AI training project. You will evaluate Tamil audio content, assess nativeness, fluency, and linguistic quality, and provide clear feedback in English.

No AI experience is required; strong Tamil proficiency and attention to detail are essential. This is a remote contractor role with flexible hours, focused on high-quality evaluations and documenting justification.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Tamil (spoken and written).
• B2+ proficiency in English for written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle linguistic differences.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly explain linguistic observations and evaluation decisions.
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply evaluation criteria consistently.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Tamil audio and evaluate nativeness, fluency, and linguistic quality.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, accent, rhythm, and authenticity.
• Identify unnatural phrasing and pronunciation issues.
• Document evaluations with clear English feedback.
• Provide explanations and justifications for decisions.
• Follow guidelines, rubrics, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements.
• Provide linguistic insights to improve AI models' Tamil understanding.
• Complete assigned reviews accurately and on time.
• Maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
