Job summary

Decagon is seeking a Talent, Strategic Projects Associate to build systems from zero to one and take on ambitious recruiting bets. You’ll collaborate to understand workflows, uncover problems, and ship practical solutions from sourcing to interview coordination, with clear ownership and scalable programs.

You’ll also lead enablement sessions and support executive searches through research and talent identification, helping Decagon continue to scale its Gen AI-native Talent function.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in executive search, recruiting operations, consulting, program management, or similar.
• Track record of building tools, systems, or programs from scratch and enabling others.
• Experience turning loosely defined problems into practical solutions with tests and rollout.
• Hands-on curiosity about AI and a habit of experimenting to solve real problems.
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills with reliable follow-through.
• Comfort with ambiguity and openness to feedback with growing ownership.

Responsibilities

• Work with teammates to understand workflows, identify friction, and prioritize problems.
• Build AI tools, automations, and systems from zero to one, testing early versions.
• Own ambiguous projects from definition to execution with clear ownership.
• Turn experiments into repeatable programs with documentation and handoffs.
• Design and lead team-wide enablement sessions and promote tool adoption.
• Research companies and leadership teams to identify executive talent and briefs.
