Job summary

Grove Collaborative is seeking a Talent Programs Lead to own compensation analysis, leveling, onboarding, and talent management programs. You’ll partner with the Director of People Experience to benchmark roles, build bands, and model offers, ensuring internal equity and clear level definitions across functions.

You will design onboarding experiences, lead calibration cycles, and maintain the leveling framework as the company evolves, enabling consistent growth conversations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years across HR / People programs and talent acquisition
• Compensation fluency with market data and band modeling
• Leveling and job architecture experience
• Proven program ownership across onboarding, performance cycles, calibration
• Strong recruiting judgment and ability to run searches
• Experience in fast-changing companies
• AI fluency in day-to-day People work
• Sharp written communication
• Discretion and judgment
• Based in Pacific or Mountain time with real-time overlap

Responsibilities

• Run compensation benchmarking, build bands, model offers and internal equity.
• Own the rollout of Grove's leveling framework, train managers, calibrate real roles.
• Design and own the onboarding experience from offer to day 90.
• Lead talent management cadence: performance cycles, calibration, career pathing.
• Run recruiting searches when needed, partnering with hiring managers and maintaining quality.
• Advise stakeholders with leveling language and comp rationale across the company.
• Leverage AI tools for data analysis, JD drafting, onboarding content and reporting.
