Job summary

Great Lakes Management Company is seeking a Talent Operations Manager to lead the full lifecycle of direct care staffing, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and workforce optimization. You will collaborate with community leadership to align staffing with occupancy, acuity, and budget while promoting a culture of accountability and service excellence.

The role requires hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling, with a focus on reducing overtime and improving staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, scheduling, or workforce management.
• Healthcare or senior living experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with scheduling and applicant tracking systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for direct care staff from posting to hiring.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Develop and manage staff schedules based on resident needs and occupancy.
• Address call-offs and after-hours staffing gaps.
• Monitor overtime and optimize staffing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provide regular updates on staffing levels and workforce challenges.
• Support retention through engagement and stay-interviews.
